KANE COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Andrew Roycroft, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, ha been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal vehicle crash in Kane County.
Roycroft, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Campton Township Friday night.
According to reports, Roycroft was operating a Ford Escape on Beith Road near Route 47 in Maple Park, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 9:40 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then rolled over.
Roycroft, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at a local hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
