RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Jamie LePore, of Hazel Green, Alabama, has been identified as the shooter in a Thursday murder-suicide that took the lives of two young boys in Rutherford County, Tennessee. His wife, Jennifer LePore, was found dead inside a residence on Wednesday.
Jamie LePore, 46, who was being investigated in the Wednesday death of his wife, 42-year-old Jennifer, fatally shot his two young sons on Thursday in a Murfreesboro, Tennessee residence. He then turned the gun on himself.
According to reports, police found the body of Jennifer inside a home on Wednesday. The cause of her death was not immediately determined and an investigation ensued. Although a suspect, Jamie LePore was not taken into custody at the time.
On Thursday, Jamie LePore fatally shot his two children before killing himself.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
