WILL COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Aidan Wilda, of Lockport, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal motorcycle collision in Will County.
Wilda, 19, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Joliet Monday night.
According to reports, Wilda was operating a Yamaha motorcycle on South Chicago Street near West Schweitzer Road in Joliet, when the bike came into contact with a Toyota RAV4 operated by a 57-year-old woman from Elwood Monday night.
Wilda, who was ejected from the bike during the collision, was then run over to two vehicles, a Ford Ranger operated by a 24-year-old man from Plainfield and a GMC Envoy operated by a 58-year-old woman from Joliet.
Wilda was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries around 8:50 p.m. Monday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
