YORK COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Montia Bouie, of Chesapeake, Virginia, Xavier Raquan Evans and his brother, Johntae Russell both of Norfolk, Virginia, have been identified as the victims in a Friday night triple-fatal party bus crash in York County.
Bouie, 19, Evans, 25, and Russell, 21, were all killed in a bus-versus-semi crash near Williamsburg Friday night.
According to reports, a party bus carrying two dozen people was traveling on Interstate 64 near Williamsburg, when the bus came into contact with a semi-tractor around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
Bouie, Evans and his brother, Russell, all died of injuries suffered in the wreck at the scene.
The driver and the remaining passengers were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man driving the tractor trailer was also transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
State police said that “charges are pending” in consultation with the local prosecutor’s office in York County.
