TN Trans Performer Kodie ‘Mikey’ Lewis Shot Dead On Birthday In Memphis Tuesday

SHELBY COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Kodie Lewis, of Memphis, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday morning fatal shooting in Shelby County.

“Mikey” Lewis, 23, was fatally shot in Memphis overnight Tuesday.

Police say Lewis was found with an apparent gunshot wound at 1:26 a.m. on Pendleton Street in Memphis.

Lewis was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.

Police have not released any suspect or motive information at this time.
