OH Man Machai Cheatham ID’d As Suspect In Sunday Youngstown King’s Court Triple-Shooting

MAHONING COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Machai Cheatham has been identified as the suspect arrested in an overnight triple-shooting at a bar in Mahoning County, Ohio.

Cheatham, 21, was taken into custody following a triple-shooting at King’s Court, formerly the Coconut Grove, in Youngstown early Sunday morning.

According to reports, Cheatham was engaged in an altercation with three other patrons at the King’s Court, at 3229 South Avenue in Youngstown, when he opened fire early Sunday morning.

Three males, 19, 20, and 21, were hit by gunfire and transported to area hospitals, two in serious condition and one in stable condition.

Cheatham, who was detained by bar security while attempting to flee the establishment, was arrested by police and booked into Mahoning County Jail on three counts of felonious assault.
