WICHITA COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — William Thomas Shimmin, of Burkburnett, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal ATV crash in Wichita County.
Shimmin, 65, was killed in a single-vehicle ATV crash near Burkburnett on Friday.
According to reports, Shimmin was operating an ATV on the 1000 block of Thrift Road north of Burkburnett, when the vehicle wrecked on Friday.
Shimmin died of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
