GWINNETT COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Brendon Young, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, has been identified as the teenage suspect sought in the Thursday Gwinnett County fatal shooting of 17-year-old high school student, DeAndre Henderson.
The Gwinnett County Police Department say they are seeking Young, 18, in the shooting death of Henderson in Peachtree Corners on Thursday.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired on South Technology Parkway in Peachtree Corners on Thursday. When they arrived, Henderson was discovered suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Henderson was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Young has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
