WARREN COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Russell George Menth, of Leonard, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday evening fatal vehicle crash in Warren County, Iowa.
Menth, 57, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near St. Charles Wednesday evening.
According to reports, Menth was operating a vehicle on Interstate 35 in the area of Mile Marker 53 near St. Charles, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway Wednesday evening. The vehicle the entered a culvert before coming into contact with a grouping of tree and an embankment.
Menth, who was originally from Monticello, Minnesota, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
