SUMMIT COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Perry Jr., of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning fatal vehicle crash in Summit County.
Joey Perry, 26, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor early Saturday morning in bath Township.
According to reports, Perry was operating a Chevrolet pickup truck on OH-18 near Medina, when the vehicle came into rear-end contact with a big-rig around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The pickup truck then exited the roadway before entering a ditch.
Perry was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The 47-year-old semi driver was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
