JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Lynn Trussell, of Birmingham, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday now fatal motorcycle crash in Jefferson County.
Trussell, 36, was killed following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Birmingham Saturday Night.
According to reports, Trussell was operating a motorcycle on Highland Avenue near 21st Place South in Birmingham, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway and came into contact with a curb around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Trussell was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries on Sunday around 4:50 a.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
