SABINE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Hogan, of Hemphill, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night vehicle crash in Sabine County, Louisiana.
Hogan, 21, was killed in a Saturday night two-vehicle vehicle crash near Many, Louisiana. The crash also injured several others, including three young children.
According to reports, Stacy Martone, of Many, was operating a vehicle on LA-6 near Many, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a vehicle operated by Hogan.
Three children traveling in Hogan’s vehicle, ages 2, 4 and 6, were transported to an area hospital with moderate to severe injuries.
Martone sustained moderate injuries.
Hogan was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
