FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Nolan Dean Young, of Callaway, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night vehicle crash in Franklin County.
Young, 20, was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday night on Route 615 in Franklin County.
According to reports, Young was operating a Toyota pickup truck on Route 615 east of Route 220 in Franklin County, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway, rolled over and came into contact with a tree around 6:20 p.m. Friday.
Young was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
