LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — A Louisville woman died in southwest Louisville after rolling her car over with juveniles inside, and a teen died while riding a moped in a Portland, a Louisville, Kentucky neighborhood on Friday night.
Tatiana Lopes, 33, died at the scene after a vehicle she was operating on 3rd Street Road rolled over with two young people inside around 10 p.m. Friday. The juveniles were reportedly not seriously injured in the wreck.
In a separate incident, Isles Duncan, 17, was operating a moped on 35th Street, when the moped came into contact with an SUV around 8 p.m. Friday. He was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
Officials believe Lopes’ accident was caused by an issue with her vehicle.
The cause of both deadly incidents remains under investigation.
