CLARKE COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — James Edward Poe, of Berryville, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal motorcycle crash involving a vehicle whose driver is facing possible charges in Clarke County, according to officials.
Jamie Poe, 33, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash near Berryville early Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Poe was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Harry Byrd Highway near Kimble Road, when the bike came into contact with a Hyundai Elantra around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Poe was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Virginia State Police is still investigating. According to VSP, charges are pending. Those charges were not provided by officials.
