WASHINGTON COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Richelle MacNeil Wooddell, of Granville, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Washington County.
Wooddell, 38, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Granville late Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, Wooddell was operating a vehicle on NY-22 near her Granville home, when the vehicle came into contact with another vehicle around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Wooddell was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the other involved vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
