SARPY COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Devon Looney, of Papillion, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday morning fatal vehicle collision in Sarpy County.
Looney, 28, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Papillion Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Looney was operating a Ford F-150 pickup truck on NE-50 near Capehart Road, when the vehicle came into contact with a Chevrolet Express van, operated by 42-year-old Michael Weeks, of Papillion, around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Looney was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Weeks was reportedly uninjured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
