WASHINGTON COUNTY, NH. (THECOUNT) — Bruce Owensby, of Smithfield, Rhode Island, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday evening motorcycle crash in Washington County.
Owensby, 60, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck Sunday evening in North Kingstown.
According to reports, Owensby was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the area of 1011 Lafayette Road in North Kingstown, when the bike came into contact with a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck around 5 p.m. Sunday.
No one in the pickup reported injuries.
Owensby, owner of Providence “Wayland Square Shoe Repair,” was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
