KINGMAN COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Max Wewe, of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, has been identified as the victim killed in a utility terrain vehicle crash involving a bull Friday night in Kingman County.
Wewe, 19, was killed, and his passenger, 21-year-old Cade Fairchild from Cheney, was seriously injured, in a friday night UTV Crash near Pretty Prairie.
According to reports, Wewe was operating a UTV with Fairchild as his passenger, when the vehicle came into contact with a bull in the roadway in rural Kingman County around 10:30 p.m. Friday night.
Both riders were ejected from the UTV during the collision.
Fairchild was transported to an area hospital with serious unknown injuries.
Wewe died of injuries suffered in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
