GADSDEN COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Shanti Lewis has been identified as the teenager fatally shot in Gadsden County Friday night.
Lewis, 18, was shot dead while inside a vehicle in Quincy Friday night.
According to reports, Lewis was traveling in a vehicle with two other individuals on West Crawford Street near South 9th Street in Crawford, when someone in another vehicle opened fire around 9:45 p.m. Friday.
Lewis, who was struck multiple times, was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.
The passengers in Lewis’s vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
According to QPD, they have identified a person of interest in this investigation.
