Heather Singleton & Elizabeth Goins ID’d As Pedestrians In Saturday Winston-Salem Double-Fatal Semi Strike

FORSYTH COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Heather Singleton and Elizabeth Goins, have been identified as the pedestrians fatally struck by a semi-tractor Saturday morning in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Singleton, 31, and 30-year-old Goins, were both killed after they were struck by a big-rig in Winston-Salem early Saturday morning.

According to report, for unknown reasons, Singleton and Goins had exited their vehicles on US-52 near Ziglar Road in Winston-Salem, when an 18-wheeler, operated by 60-year-old Bradley Perry, crashed into the women and their stopped vehicles around 1:23 a.m. Saturday.

Both Goins and Singleton were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.

Investigators say that Perry stayed remained on the scene and was cooperative with arriving officials.
