TAYLOR COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jason Gray and his wife, Sheree Gray, of Clyde, Texas, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal motorcycle crash in Taylor County.
The couple were killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 20 in Abilene Friday night.
According to reports, Jason, 43, was operating a motorcycle with 38-year-old Sheree as his passenger on I-20 near the Elmdale Road off ramp in Abilene, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and made contact with a cable barrier around 7 p.m. Friday.
Jason was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene. Sheree was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
