COTTON COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Marysol Espinoza, of Vernon, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday morning vehicle crash in Cotton County, Oklahoma.
Espinoza, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Devol early Thursday.
According to reports, Espinoza was operating a vehicle on US-70 near Lawton Avenue in Devol, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a concrete storm drain culvert.
Espinoza, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
