FLORENCE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Sara Weaver, of Florence, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night double-fatal pedestrian strike in Florence County.
Weaver, a Florence County EMS paramedic, was killed along with another individual while working a motorcycle crash scene Tuesday night in Florence.
According to reports, Weaver, a police officer and trooper were among at least four people struck by a vehicle on Pamplico Highway in Florence, while assisting a motorcycle crash victim.
Weaver and another person died when a vehicle that was not involved in the initial collision drove through the crash scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
