LOGAN COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Lt. Mark Andrew Bruning, of the Guthrie Police Department, was found dead inside his home in Logan County Thursday night.
Bruning, 47, died and was discovered inside his Guthrie residence Thursday night.
No foul play is suspected, say officials.
A cause of death was not provided as of Friday morning.
No further information was provided.
In 2013, Bruning made local headlines when he was terminated for an incident at a Mumford & Sons concert. Later, an arbitrator ruled the City of Guthrie wrongfully terminated him. The arbitrator ruled he return back to the department in the same position (lieutenant) when he was terminated and back pay. The ruling also stated Bruning was suspended for six months without pay, at the time.
