MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Brent Rashaud Purvis, of Conroe, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal road rage incident in Montgomery County. Justin Avery Clarabut, also of Conroe, was identified as the shooter.
Purvis, 27, was fatally shot during an apparent road rage incident in Conroe Thursday night. Clarabut, 29, was taken into custody and charged with murder.
According to reports, the men engaged in an argument while operating vehicles on State Highway 336 Loop near Interstate 45 in Conroe Thursday around 6 p.m. At some point, shots were fired.
Purvis was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Clarabut was arrested and charged with murder.
