DOUGLAS COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Caden Foster has been identified as the teenage victim in a Wednesday night fatal crash in Douglas County, Nebraska.
Foster, 16, was killed in a single-vehicle crash that also injured another teen in Omaha Wednesday night.
According to reports, Jimmy Aaron was operating a Ford Explorer on Interstate 680 near West Dodge Road in Omaha, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then rolled over multiple times before entering a culvert.
Aaron was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Foster, a passenger in the vehicle, was ejected during the crash. He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
