LOWNDES COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Joshua Clinton Brown, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal vehicle crash in Lowndes County.
Brown, 48, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Montgomery late Friday night.
According to reports, Brown was operating a pickup truck on Old Selma Road near Burkville, an unincorporated community in Lowndes County, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then flipped over.
Brown was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
