ORANGE COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Erica Pacheco, the owner of “Loyal Luxury Beauty Studio,” in St. Cloud, Florida, has been identified as one of two fatalities in a Saturday submersion crash in Orange County.
Pacheco, 34, and 56-year-old David Morales, were both killed and two other injured, in a single-vehicle crash in Orlando early Saturday morning.
According to reports, a Land Rover was traveling on Jeff Fuqua Boulevard near South Semoran Boulevard in Orlando, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with a concrete wall and rolled over into a canal.
All four occupants became trapped in the submerged vehicle.
The driver and one passenger suffered minor injuries in the wreck.
Pacheco and Morales were transported to an area hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
