JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — David Scott Benson, of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal motorcycle crash in Jefferson County.
Benson, 43, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Louisville Wednesday night.
According to reports, Benson was operating a motorcycle on Westport Road near Northumberland Drive in Louisville, when the bike came into contact with a vehicle around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Benson, a Louisville dog trainer known as “Dave The Dogman,” was ejected from his motorcycle and later pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The person operating the vehicle was uninjured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
