LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Jada Pinkett Smith sorta addressed her husband’s infamous Oscars slap, but rather than apologize, she said Chris Rock and Will Smith should set aside their differences.
Smith opened the latest episode of “Red Table Talk” by saying,
“My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile.”
Smith only had one more remark about the incident … which was that she believes both her husband and Chris are needed now more than ever, reports TMZ.
According to TMZ, Smith’s comments are “shocking,” because most people feel it’s Will who really owes Chris a face-to-face — or at the very least a personal convo — where he apologizes for getting physical.
