ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Eric Trimble, of Wellsville, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal motorcycle crash involving a deer in Allegany County.
Trimble, 60, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Wellsville Wednesday night.
According to reports, Trimble was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on State Route 417 in Wellsville, when the bike came into contact with a deer in the road Wednesday night.
Trimble, who was originally from Meadville, Pennsylvania, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The condition of the involved animal was not provided by officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
