ANDERSON COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — James Gregory Freeze, of Easley, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal vehicle crash in Anderson County.
Freeze, 55, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Anderson Tuesday night.
According to reports, Freeze was operating a Chevy Tahoe on SC-86, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then made contact with a guardrail before rolling over. The vehicle came to a rest after striking a tree.
Freeze was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
