HENRY COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Shane Pullen, of Napoleon, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in an overnight fatal vehicle crash involving children in Henry County.
Pullen, 40, was killed, and two children injured, in a single-vehicle crash near Napoleon early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Pullen was operating a vehicle on SR-108 near West Clinton Street in Napoleon, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around midnight Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with a curb and a utility pole.
Pullen was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Two children passengers suffered injuries described as non-life threatening.
Seatbelts and child restraints were not in use at the time of the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
