WYANDOTTE COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Ashley Jones, of Kansas City, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting Thursday in Wyandotte County.
Jones, 37, was fatally shot in Kansas City on Thursday.
According to reports, officials responded to the 1400 block of North 8th Street on a call of a medical incident Thursday morning around 9:30 a.m. When they arrived, Jones was found inside a home suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Jones was pronounced dead on the scene of gunshot injuries.
Police provided no suspect or motive information as of Friday.
This deadly incident remains under investigation.
