COOK COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Thomas Schweitzer of Mount Prospect, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal motorcycle crash in Cook County.
Schweitzer, 41, was killed in a motorcycle crash in Morton Grove Friday night.
According to reports, Schweitzer was operating a motorcycle on Oakton Street near Gross Point Road in Morton Grove, when the bike came into contact with a passenger vehicle around 10:30 p.m. Friday.
Schweitzer was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the involved vehicle cooperated with arriving officials.
The cause of the collision remains ongoing.
