YELL COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Brecken Cook of Greenwood, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Yell County.
Cook, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Havana early Sunday.
According to reports, Cook was operating a Ford Mustang near 29300 Highway 10 in Havana, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Cook was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
According to Cook’s Facebook, she may have been involved in racing the Mustang:
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
