FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — The body of missing Mansfield, Ohio woman, Melinda Davis, has been located Monday in Franklin County.
Davis, 33, was on her way to visit her ex-boyfriend, John Mack, when she went missing February 25.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office announced the discovery of the body of Davis in the trunk of a vehicle in Galloway.
A search warrant was obtained for the home and Ohio BCI investigated the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Based on the investigation and evidence, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Mack for kidnapping. He was arrested on March 4 in Mansfield.
