After nearly three decades, Daft Punk has called it quits. The iconic duo’s longtime publicist officially confirmed the split.
Daft Punk, one of the most influential groups to emerge in the past 30 years, announced their retirement via a video titled “Epilogue.”
Punk fans took to Youtube to say goodbye:
“Daft Punk will forever have one of the best runs in music period. A great 28 years they blessed us with great music. Sad to see they are no more”
“The world lost a pair of interstellar gods today. May their soundwaves travel through the light years. Influencing and giving hope to beings everywhere.”
“Daft punk’s songs are classified as legendary for me, examples include: Aerodynamic, Harder better faster stronger, One more time are the songs that are old but gold. Just to clarify has daft punk discontinued making music?”
