MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Sheryl Farmer, of Clarksville, Tennessee, has been identified as the pedestrian in a fatal vehicle strike Wednesday night in Montgomery County.
Farmer, 62, died after she was struck by a vehicle near Clarksville Wednesday night.
According to reports, Farmer was on-foot, pushing a shopping cart full of her belongings, when she was struck by a passing vehicle as she attempted to cross Madison Street near Denny Road in Clarksville, Wednesday night around 9:30 p.m.
Farmer was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Police say, the driver was not facing any charges.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
