EFFINGHAM COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Logan Dallape, of Effingham, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday night vehicle crash in Effingham County.
Dallape, 23, was killed in a vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor near Effingham Monday night.
According to reports, Dallape was operating a vehicle on West Fayette Avenue near Interstate 57 in Effingham, when the vehicle came into contact with a big-rig around 7:45 p.m. Monday.
The 18-wheeler is believed to have run a red light.
The tractor-trailer then exited the roadway, made contact with a guardrail, and entered a ditch.
Dallape, originally from Carbondale, Illinois, was killed in the crash.
