HORRY COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Timothy Hurney has been identified as the Horry County Fire and Rescue volunteer killed in a Saturday motorcycle crash in Horry County.
Hurney, 20, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Myrtle Beach on Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, Hurney was operating a motorcycle on Holmestown Road near Scipio Lane in Myrtle Beach, when for unknown reasons, the bike went down.
Hurney died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.
Hurney was a volunteer at Station 20 located on Scipio Lane.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
