MENDON, NY. (THECOUNT) — A military helicopter crash in upstate New York Wednesday evening has left three people dead, according to multiple reports.
The triple-fatal helicopter crash occurred near Mendon Wednesday night.
According to reports, the crash happened around 6:30 Wednesday near West Bloomfield Road & Cheese Factory Road in Mendon, NY.
Social media videos of the crash scene showed the burning wreckage and first responders blocking the road.
Witnesses told officials they observed the aircraft flying low near the ground.
No word on what caused the crash.
