CHAMBERS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — The death of Alexis Sharkey, the newly married Instagram model who was found dead in Texas after going missing in November, has been ruled a homicide.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences confirmed the 26-year-old’s cause of death was strangulation.
Sharkey was discovered deceased by city workers who were traveling down a Houston street.
The autopsy report will be available after law enforcement concludes its homicide investigation.
The Instagram influencer was discovered unresponsive while wearing no clothing in the 1000 block of Red Haw Lane near the Omni Houston.
The beauty had no visible signs of injury, officials said at the time.
Police suspect foul play.
