HARTFORD COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Shamar Williams and Omar Lawrence, both of Hartford, Connecticut, have been identified as the victims in a Saturday morning double-fatal vehicle crash in Hartford County.
Williams, 19, and Lawrence, 17, were both killed in a single-vehicle crash in Hartford early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Lawrence was operating a vehicle on Tower Avenue near Waverly Street in Hartford, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway just after midnight Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
A third unidentified passenger was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The investigation into the cause of the deadly incident is ongoing.
