CA Woman Ashli Babbit ID’d As Victim Shot Dead Inside U.S. Capitol Wednesday

WASHINGTON, DC. (THECOUNT) — Ashli Babbit, of San Diego, California, has been identified as the victim shot dead inside of the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday

Babbit, a 14-year veteran with the Air Force, was fatally shot after pro-Trump protesters charged the U.S. Capitol building Wednesday.

The shooting occurred shortly after 3 p.m.

Her mother-in-law told reporters, “I really don’t know why she decided to do this.”
