COBB COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — John “Ecstasy” Fletcher, who co-founded hip-hop group “Whodini,” has died. He was 56.
Fletcher was residing in the Atlanta area when he passed away of undisclosed causes.
Fletcher formed Whodini with Jalil Hutchins in Brooklyn in 1982. DJ Grandmaster Dee joined in 1986 to form the trio.
Whodini hits include “Freaks Come Out at Night,” “Friends” and “The Haunted House of Rock.”
