FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Jesse Chance, of Rocky Mount, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Monday afternoon two-vehicle crash in Franklin County.
Chance, 18, was killed in a vehicle crash involving a dump truck near Rocky Mount Monday afternoon.
According to reports, Chance was operating a vehicle on US-220 near US-40 interchange in Rocky Mount, when the vehicle came into contact with a dump truck around 3 p.m. Monday.
Chance was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured in the crash.
