CHAMBERS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Briana Johnson, of Houston, Texas, has been identified as the victim found dead in a vehicle truck following a Saturday high-speed chase in Chambers County.

Johnson, 28, was found deceased in the truck of a vehicle after a Public Safety trooper attempted to pull over the driver of a white Honda who was driving at a high rate of speed on I-10 in Beaumont on Saturday.

The driver, who was later apprehended after crashing near Milam Street in Beaumont Saturday morning around 8 a.m., has been identified as 35-year-old Victor “Cali” Campbell Jr. of Fresno, Texas.

On Sunday, Houston police officers were spotted searching a home in the 4100 block of Maggie Street in Houston. Officials say the home is possibly linked to Johnson’s death.

According to DPS, Campbell faces the following charges:

Felony evading arrest
Driving while intoxicated
Tampering with evidence
Abuse of a corpse
Additional felony charges are pending.
