BUTLER COUNTY, KS, (THECOUNT) — Kerry Eugene Trent and Shannon Wayne Tucker, both if Wichita, Kansas, have been identified as the victims in a Tuesday gyrocopter crash in Butler County.
Trent, 58 and 53-year-old Tucker, were both killed in a gyrocopter near Potwin Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, Trent was piloting a gyrocopter when the aircraft went down near Northwest 80th Street and Northwest Tawakoni Road in Milton Tuesday around 1:45 p.m.
Trent and his passenger, Tucker, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of th crash remains under investigation.
